Mr and Mrs Ellery
Environmental Protection Notice
Grounds of Appeal:
Concerned over the introduction of exotic fish species (in this case silver perch) into the environment in Western Australia, on the grounds that WA still has no policy on translocation of fish species. This proposal should be formally assessed to enable public review and the setting of binding environmental conditions. Assessment by FDWA already affords public comment and legally binding conditions. A separate formal assessment by the EPA is not necessary and the EPAs level of assessment at Informal Review with Public Advice is appropriate.
There are currently no reports available for this appeal.
